The President Jalal Talabani Foundation, in partnership with Koya University, Basrah University, and Missouri University of Science and Technology, participates in the Third International Conference on Petroleum

Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the Jalal Talabani Foundation, commented on the conference, stating, "The conference has specific objectives, including enhancing the control mechanisms for managing the transportation and treatment of waste generated by oil production activities. Additionally, the conference addresses issues related to the emission of polluted gases resulting from both oil production processes and the use of vehicle fuels."

He further highlighted that the conference will cover various topics, encompassing recycling and waste reduction, gas production waste management, hydrocarbon emissions, oil and gas storage, waste classification, and other related subjects.

The organizers of the Third International Conference on Petroleum include Koya University, the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, Basrah University, and Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, USA. The conference is scheduled to take place from the 28th to the 30th of April 2024, at Koya University.
