The President Jalal Talabani Foundation's Seminar Series on the Thought, Life, and Struggle of President Mam Jalal – Attended by Academics and Writers

On Thursday, June 4, 2026, the President Jalal Talabani Foundation organized a special seminar on the Foundation's latest publication titled:
"Mam Jalal: The Horizon of Peace in Iraq's Post-Saddam Political Stability,"
prepared by researcher and university professor Prof. Dr. Ranjdar Muhammad.
The seminar focused on the role of President Mam Jalal in the worlds of politics, diplomacy, and statecraft in Iraq and the region. This was presented in three main sections:

The first section reviewed Mam Jalal's role in uniting the Iraqi opposition and his efforts to form a national Iraqi government during the period of the Governing Council and the transitional phase (2003–2005).

The second section was dedicated to discussing Mam Jalal's principles and strategies for achieving stability and consensus among parties as a means of protecting the rights of all components of Iraqi society (2006–2010).

The third section highlighted the views and perspectives of different parties in assessing the stances and actions of Mam Jalal (2010–2012).

Following the presentations, attendees enriched the seminar with their own views and analyses, offering suggestions and personal insights on the role of President Mam Jalal in the political arena and in promoting peaceful coexistence.
