Baghdad – In a step aimed at strengthening national relations and expanding its cultural and intellectual activities, the President Jalal Talabani Foundation officially opened a new office in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
On Monday, June 15, 2026, under the supervision of Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, the Foundation inaugurated its office in a ceremony attended by a number of government and party officials, members of parliament, writers, intellectuals, and representatives of civil society organizations. The objective of opening this office is to strengthen dialogue and cooperation among Iraq's diverse components and to support the cultural, intellectual, and research activities of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation across the cities of Iraq.
The President Jalal Talabani Foundation emphasized that opening this office in Baghdad represents an important step toward bringing together different viewpoints and perspectives and toward spreading the values of peace, coexistence, and national dialogue that President Mam Jalal championed throughout his life.
It is worth noting that the President Jalal Talabani Foundation has carried out a number of important projects and activities in the fields of culture, education, research, and the preservation of contemporary history, and continues to serve Iraqi society with a spirit of shared national commitment.
