On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Aran Ghafur, the representative of the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan for Student Affairs, along with a delegation from the Kurdistan Students Association, visited the President Jalal Talabani Foundation. They were warmly received by Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, the President of the foundation, and a team from the foundation.
During the meeting, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir spoke about the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, stating:
"The President Jalal Talabani Foundation is an independent,non-govermental, non-profit, and impartial organization that has cultural, humanitarian, and national objectives. It works to document, preserve, and archive the life and struggle of President Jalal Talabani."
The President of the foundation also emphasized:
"This foundation places great importance on the intellectual and academic research regarding the thoughts, life, and policies of President Jalal Talabani."
In another part of the meeting, discussions focused on the Kurdistan Students Association initiatives in serving students and advancing education. The association's strategies for the upcoming academic year were also reviewed.
In response, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir praised the efforts of the Kurdistan Students Association, stating:
"The work you have carried out over the past year in service to students and the universities and institutes of Kurdistan is praiseworthy. We highly value your efforts and take pride in your achievements."
