Greetings from the President Jalal Talabani Foundation on the Occasion of Christmas

On the occasion of Christmas which commemorates the birth of  Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), we extend our warmest greetings and blessings to our Christian sisters and brothers in Kurdistan and Iraq.
We hope this blessed occasion brings them joy, tranquility, and peace, and serves as an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and coexistence among us.
Christians form an integral part of the social fabric of Kurdistan, and we consider the protection of their rights a fundamental responsibility. Kurdistan has always been a homeland of interfaith and inter-community coexistence.
We hope that this occasion will be a source of goodness, happiness, peace, and stability for the region, and that this blessed event will inspire us with renewed determination to build a more peaceful society and ensure a dignified life for Christians.
We pray to God Almighty to make this occasion one of security and tranquility for all Christians and for all components of Kurdistan.
