Agreement Reached on a Memorandum of Understanding Between the President Jalal Talabani Foundation and the Paradigma Foundation for Culture and Peaceful Coexistence
On Thursday, February 12, 2026, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, met with Mr. Javier Martín Fernández, President of the Paradigma Foundation for Culture and Peaceful Coexistence.
This meeting took place within the framework of strengthening cultural and dialogue-based cooperation that supports the values of peaceful coexistence and builds bridges of understanding between communities.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed avenues for joint collaboration and agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding.
The aim of this memorandum is to develop joint projects and programs to consolidate the culture of peaceful coexistence and foster dialogue among different societal components. This reflects the shared vision of both institutions to support social stability and promote the values of peace.
Reference was also made to the ideas and thought of President Mam Jalal and his prominent role in bringing diverse opinions and viewpoints closer together and resolving political crises. Emphasis was placed on his efforts to unify positions and promote the language of dialogue among various parties, as an example of political work built on the foundation of moderation and understanding between different components.
