Congratulatory Message from the President Jalal Talabani Foundation on the Occasion of Nowruz

On the occasion of the arrival of the Kurdish New Year (Nowruz) (2726), we extend our warmest congratulations to all the people of Kurdistan, wishing peace and tranquility to all.

Nowruz is a message of freedom, life, and renewal; it is a symbol of the end of oppression and tyranny. We hope that this Nowruz will be a remedy for the tensions and unrest that have cast a shadow over our country, and that it will also contribute to ensuring stability and security in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the world.

The anniversary of the liberation of the city of Kirkuk from the grip of the fascist regime coincides with this national occasion. We congratulate our beloved people of Kirkuk, hoping that this Nowruz and the years to come will be lived together in an atmosphere of peace and freedom.
