We highly appreciate the tireless efforts and intensive diplomatic endeavors of Mr. Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, as well as the negotiation team and the PUK faction in the Iraqi Council of Representatives. Mr. Bafel Jalal Talabani has added this success to his other achievements, accomplished despite the current difficult circumstances.

We hope that Mr. Nizar Ammedi, His Excellency the President of the Republic, will, in this new national responsibility, follow the same wise vision of President Mam Jalal, becoming a unifying umbrella for all diverse components, a defender of the constitution, the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people, and continue to serve the country by upholding the law and strengthening national unity among all the peoples of Iraq.
