A Chinese Delegation of Middle East Studies Experts Visits the Mausoleum of President Mam Jalal

On Monday, June 15, 2026, Mr. Yusif Zozani, Deputy President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, accompanied by his delegation and representatives of the Secretariat Office of President Mam Jalal, received Mr. Ma Xiaolin, head of a Chinese delegation of Middle East studies experts from Zhejiang University of International Studies, at the mausoleum of President Mam Jalal.
The head of the delegation expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and his pleasure in visiting the site. He also wrote a commemorative note in the visitors’ book at the mausoleum and conveyed his admiration for the personality of President Mam Jalal and his long history of struggle.
The Chinese delegation also spoke about President Mam Jalal’s visit to China during his youth, noting the significance of that trip. They further noted that President Mam Jalal was greatly impressed by the ideas and thought of Mao Zedong during his visit to China.
