On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, received Mr. Daniel Hunn, the Swiss Ambassador to Iraq, along with Mr. Dler Kamil Qaradaghi, representative of the Swiss Embassy in the Kurdistan Region.
During the meeting, Dr. Muhammad introduced the mission and activities of the Foundation, stating: “The President Jalal Talabani Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to cultural and humanitarian efforts. It works to preserve and promote the archive and legacy of President Mam Jalal Talabani.”
Dr. Muhammad also highlighted the Foundation’s focus on supporting academic research, intellectual endeavors, and the political vision of President Talabani.
In response, Ambassador Hunn expressed his appreciation for the Foundation’s ongoing efforts and its significant achievements. He emphasized the importance of continued collaboration, stating: “We are ready to coordinate and cooperate in areas aligned with the mission of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation.”
