On Sunday, 15 June 2025, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, along with Mr. Yusif Zozani, Vice President, visited the Karimi Alaka Foundation. They were warmly received by Shakhawan Sidiq, Chairman of the foundation.
During the meeting, Dr. Muhammad Sabir highlighted the mission of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, stating, “The President Jalal Talabani Foundation is a non-profit, independent organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and archiving the life and legacy of President Jalal Talabani. It also prioritizes academic and cultural initiatives related to his thoughts, life, and political contributions.”
Dr. Sabir commended the Karimi Alaka Foundation for its ongoing projects and activities, expressing hope that they would continue their efforts with the same dedication.
At the end of the meeting, the Karimi Alaka Foundation proposed signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the President Jalal Talabani Foundation. This agreement would establish a framework for joint projects and improved coordination, enabling both organizations to expand their initiatives in service to all communities and groups in Kurdistan.
