On Monday, June 1, 2026, coinciding with International Children's Day, the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, under the supervision of Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, Mr. Yusif Zozani, Vice President of the Foundation, and Ms. Kalê Muhammad Sabir, Director of Projects at the Foundation, and in the presence of Mr. Jiyar Jalal, Director of the Sulaymaniyah Social Care Directorate, hosted the children of five care homes under the Sulaymaniyah Social Care Directorate.
The President Jalal Talabani Foundation spent International Children's Day with the children, celebrating the occasion together.
During the ceremony, the President Jalal Talabani Foundation presented gifts and awards to the children, provided various household necessities, and concluded the event with a lunch prepared by the Foundation.
Mr. Jiyar Jalal, Director of the Sulaymaniyah Social Care Directorate, thanked the President and the President Jalal Talabani Foundation for spending a full day with the children of the five care homes.
The children participating in the ceremony included infants, boys, girls, and adolescents from the care homes affiliated with the Sulaymaniyah Social Care Directorate.
