Mrs. Leyla Zana Visits President Mam Jalal’s Mausoleum

On Saturday, July 13, 2025, Mrs. Leyla Zana, a prominent Kurdish politician, visited the mausoleum of President Mam Jalal and wrote down her memories in the memorial logbook.
After laying a wreath at President Mam Jalal’s tomb as a gesture of loyalty and respect, Mrs. Zana reflected on his essential role in the national liberation struggle and the peace process in Turkey. She stated, “Mam Jalal was the engineer of the peace process.”
Mrs. Zana also emphasized that in the presence of President Mam Jalal’s spirit, we proudly remember his historic contributions, particularly his unifying role among Kurds, Turks, and Arabs. “He had a blessed and benevolent influence,” she remarked. She further added, “We will never forget Mam Jalal’s role in the peace process.”
