President Jalal Talabani Foundation Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Karimi Alaka Foundation

On 25 June 2025, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr. Shakhawan sdiq, Director of the Karimi Alaka Foundation.

The MoU sets out a structure in which they will collect and preserve Kurdish and Kurdistan’s archives. Also, it is a platform for joint participation in international forums and events related to cultural, historical, political, educational and environmental issues.

Meanwhile, the agreement includes a framework for the cohesive effort in publishing and disseminating works related to the foundations' shared goals. By the same token, there will be cooperation in cultural diplomacy and joint meetings in relevant fields. Eventually, staff from both foundations will participate in human development programs. 

The MoU is for a term of one year which also includes options for renewal and amendment as required.
